Thread OP
Saint John NB, Canada (Zone 5b)
I have Blue Angle Salvia and Black and Blue ( from seeds ) growing in pots now. I would like to keep them over the winter . I am doing something wrong so am asking the experts . If you do overwinter the tubers , exactly how do you do it.

Just ran across your reply on overwintering salvias. Unfortunately, the web site you provided required me to provide email info. I consider that improper, it allows others to send me junk email and intrude on my privacy and opens me up to future fraud.

I was trying to help.

I have clarified the need for an email address to download this report, which took several weeks of work to assemble and write - the price so to speak for this. It is of course everyone's personal choice as to access information of this sort that has such requirements.

Sorry that greater clarity ws not provided initially.

Understood.

I shred my junk mail, plus, and then compost it. Since retirement in 2001, I have won the Spanish Lottery twice (never bought a ticket), have received 5 or 6 letters from the IRS or a tax preparer useing my address (none used my correct name--I lived in a single family home and was there for over 20 yrs when IRS started mailing me), received an IRS check mailed to my address (again, not in my name), currently receive 3 to 5 phone calls per week that are out of my area code but they use my area code (phone service informs me that they are out of my area code), and receive many phone calls from numbers I do not recognize that do not leave a message.
It took me over 6 months reviewing postings to the NGA online site before joining. As an internal auditor in my working years, I have seen enough fraud to be skeptical of many.
