I am trying to add 2 photos Hippeastrum Gold Metal to database. It tells me that there is no plant entry by that name in the database. I made that plant entry about a week ago, and it is showing up in my messages that that action was successful. Is this a system glitch?

Maybe it was Gold Medal?

I had to combine the entry added by Barbara with a duplicate:
Amaryllis (Hippeastrum Gold Medal®)

I handled the proposal at the time, too, and corrected the cultivar name to 'Gold Medal' (I couldn't find any reference to a 'Gold Metal').

Since you knew you added it ( even though it was combined with another entry) a couple of tips would be to search just using partial names like 'Hippeastrum Gold' or another way is go to the Hippeastrum database and search under the G alphabetical listing.
When you know it should be there but can't find it with a simple search, it's almost always due to a misspelling.
