A mystery vine showed up in my butterfly garden. I'm in Jacksonville. Can anyone ID it for me? Tell me how to get rid of it?

Reminds me of juvenile leaves of Passiflora. I think both of those below are found here in Florida:
Maypop (Passiflora incarnata)
Passion Flower (Passiflora edulis)

No thorns. Smooth stem. No flowers.

WOW! After looking at those photos I think you're right. I had Passiflora-incarnata planted in 2 large pots in the butterfly garden a few years ago but they died. I kept them in pots because I know how they can spread. I guess they escaped and have just been lurking in the soil waiting a chance to bust out. Oh well, I suppose now I'll have to keep them cut back. Maybe the caterpillars will help me with that. I guess I'll have even more zebra longwings and gulf fritillarys now. Thanks a lot plantladylin.
