Thread OP

I have a wall that faces southeast and has great access to my backyard. We would like to put in a lean-to greenhouse to store our plants during the winter (upstate South Carolina).

I am thinking of a 6x10, with a door on the 6 foot end, polycarbonate roof since we get hail, and glass siding.

I am designing this from the ground up literally. I have many questions, but one is to choose the glass panels so I can set the full length, then move on to designing the foundation and a ~ 1 foot high brick wall that blends with my brick house.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where can I get suitable glass for the side walls, and is there a standard or typical size?

I am thinking of building a wood structure to hold the glass and poly roof.

Thanks!

@yelkenli Sorry for the delayed response... When you say "poly" do you mean film or panels? Why not use poly film or panels on the sides, too? It's actually better for the plants than clear glass.
