Thread OP

Hello All,

This is my first post here after perusing the wealth of knowledge and information here! What an amazing site! Hopefully this specific questions doesn't already exist. I am a beginner gardener of about 1 and a half years. My ultimate goal is to have a edible perennial garden surrounding an inner annual edible garden. This spring I'll be planting tree collards, wild arugula, garlic chives, watercress, loveage, malabar spinach, and scarlet runner beans. What other perennials work well in zone 8. I am looking for edibility, ease of care, and little to no processing needed before eating.

Thanks,
Jayson

Recently discovered sochan.... I've grown rudbeckia laciniata for years, nice to discover that it was edible.... and... even palatable! No funny textures like evening primrose and sweet potato leaves... unfortunately... picking only a few leaves off each plant meant that I had to add other stuff to the pot... but then... Ida done that anyway.
