Hi, I just got an Orchid today and don't know exactly what type it is. I also have some questions about it.
What type is it? How big does it get? Is it indoors or outdoors? Sorry for all the questions, it's my first orchid.

Heres some pictures of it! I really love it

Welcome! to the site, SilverFlight!

I've moved your thread to the Orchids forum.

Your Orchid is a Dendrobium Orchid. It can be grown indoors or outside, depending on what conditions you are able to provide (for example, enough light but protection from the afternoon sun).

You're most welcome. Other members here will be able to offer more advice than I can, as I primarily grow Cymbidiums (a different genus of Orchid).

Your orchid is a Dendrobium phalaenopsis type. Now that is a little confusing. Let me explain.

The genus Dendrobium is one of the largest Genera within the orchid family. There are quite possibly over 30 sub groups within the genus. Phalaenopsis type Dendrobiums being one such group. They like adequate sunshine, good supply of water and they like to grow warm, between 60-85 degrees. They will take temperatures outside of that range for short periods of time.

It gets to be a little confusing since there is also another type of orchid called Phalaenopsis! The care for the two is drastically different.
Dendrobium phalaenopsis get their name from the fact that their flowers look a lot like miniature phalaenopsis.
