Hi all, I am new to the forum but have been reading for a while now. Thank you all for the great advise. I have heard mixed reviews on trying to root plumeria cuttings over the winter on heat mats, any advise? Recommendations? Thoughts?

I would rather wait it out to mid Spring. Will save you a lot of frustration and angst since it is just ready to sleep when conditions are not optimal for its growth.

Would I be able to save the cuttings till spring or will they go bad?

Hi Josh Welcome! To answer your question: A lot depends on the size / diameter of the cutting... Has this cutting begun to wrinkle up from lack of water + has the cut end calloused? I would just keep it in a dark / dry state bare until Spring.

nodding just keep it dry and warm. It will manage it. All you need is your patience and keep a good hands off policy Big Grin

They were just sent to me from my aunt down in florida. I have several from her but I've always started them in the spring and never had a problem. They are brand new cuttings so I don't believe they would dry out but again, I've never had one that I would keep out of the pot for this long. Thank you for all your advise, I greatly appreciate it.
