There should be a sticky subject on here for starting seeds. It would save a lot of the same questions being posted. At the very least the info would be here already for the new people

There are plenty of threads on NGA with member comments for and against seeing lots of sticky's when going into a forum. The Daylily forum moderators, past and present, have never been fans of multiple sticky's in the Daylily forum and I keep it to just the Classified and Wanted threads so they don't get lost in the thread shuffle. Those 2 sticky's also keep all the info in one place so there isn't a new thread every time some has a sale or wants help finding a particular daylily.

I think the updating of seed starting info and questions from newbies is welcome in the forum. Everyone has their favorite way of starting and growing seedlings, what works, what doesn't or didn't, can be a personal thing and hearing the success and failures helps us all learn. The conversations change as some members leave and others join in. So keep the questions coming!

I do have several forum projects waiting for me now that winter is here. If you'd like to pick some favorite, informative seed starting threads (threads, not individual posts) I will see what I can do about adding a link page in the Welcome Box. You can post links to them here in this thread.

Char, my apologies. I was not aware of that.
