I suggest that you slow down Nick. Now you are issuing so many posts that you are increasing the chances that some will be overlooked.

Photos with foliage would help also if you want accuracy. For instance, I have one that looks the same as yours that might be secundum or ellipticum (I don't know how to tell the difference), but I also have a mini ellipticum that looks the same, but a tiny version. That one has a label. Many of any alliance have very similar blooms, but different foliage/ pseudo bulbs, etc.

Another possibility is Epidendrum ibaguense.
I get confused secundum or ibaguense all the time and I think that secundum has non-resupinate (upside down flowers) and a raised callus on the lip. I think that I see a raised callus on the lip.

I was able to find the Secundum group on Jay Phal's site and they are upside -down blooms. I'll have to go through some of my books for any more. I'm trusting Andy's Orchids to label the mini Ellipticom correctly.

Ha! I just found E. secundum in Botanica Orchids, and it looks nothing like the one above! Off to see what else I can find.

The picture in Botanical is not secundum I think. Secundum is a reed stem Epidendrum I think. It has a frilly lip like radicans and ibaguense.

I think you're right! I have seen them before though. I have other books to check, but had company. I know I've seen it somewhere here.
