We were staying at the Hilton Palacio del Rio last weekend and saw this beautiful mosaic wall in the lobby. Thought of @plantmanager when I saw all the intricate tile cuts used to complete the scene of the River Walk, bridges, flora and fauna.
Maybe it could be scaled back a bit, but it sure is striking!

That is a beautiful mosaic mural, Sandi! Did you see a plaque or signature on it? I probably know the artist, but can't say by just looking at the work. I love seeing mosaics while we travel! Thanks for posting!

I didn't see any signature or plaque. We were waiting for our car to come down. The lobby was packed with people cking out, and we found a spot to wait right by the mural. It was about 12 ft high and 15 ft or more wide. My phone photos really don't do it justice!
