Up early as usual, because I am an insomniac and so is my Jack Russell. She gets up at 6am sharp.

On todays roster:
file my quarterly sales tax return
pay my quarterly estimated Federal income tax payment
make black eyed peas for dinner
pressure wash all the walls in the greenhouse

Laughing at the antics of a squirrel stealing 'monkey nuts' which were meant for the birds.

Pretty laid back this morning. Finished up a delphinium painting.


Pulled out a big sheet of graph paper and taped it to my drawing board - to design the (7) 100 foot rows of the annual garden. Anticipation of vegetables & flowers & herbs make this a fun project.

Will stroll to the garden shed tomorrow, when temperatures climb to the mid-forties and straighten up the chaos of fall cleanup.

Putting together a 'to do' list of garden goals for 2020. Always like the challenge of a new or different plant each year, too.

Finish post trip chores, decide where to hang my new wind chimes and try to make the front door air tight...grrrr

I helped my Dad set up a Roku so my folks can hopefully cut cable.

We went to Japantown, San Francisco yesterday...after lunch did some shopping.
Got a nice indoor growing kit.


The shops we went to gave us free calendars and a nice year of the rat pin. I think it was the agreed upon giveaway inside the mall shops.

My only garden activity was to watch the Rose Parade.

Sounds good to me! Did finish chores and hang windchime but still must deal with the door...town yesterday and forgot weather stripping. What I had was old and no longer sticky
