Thread OP

Hello all,
My plumeria has gone dormant. I've stopped watering and today when taking a look at it, I noticed that it may be at the beginnings of a scale infestation? I've never had scale on any plant of mine, but this sorta looked like this could be the start of what I've seen take over an entire plant/tree?

Does anyone have any experience with scale on plumerias?

Should I remove the stalk from the soil and repot with new soil in the spring?

Any advice would be very helpful! Thank you!
