Can anyone recommend an online source to buy banana trees?I was going to order from going bananas but I understand they no longer do mail-order sales.I am looking for edible bananas.Thanks for any help.

I've bought from Wellspring Gardens, but it's been many years. Looked at their website just now, and they are sold out of many items but still have a few (edible) bananas.

I have gotten a few things from them, they have good stuff usually

My cinnamon tree came from them... I check every so often hoping for an allspice in stock. I'm going to look at those other 2 places you mentioned, maybe see what kind of "trouble" I can get into there.

I love the plants and descriptions and photos at Logee's… don't love the prices, but I know they send top quality!

Logees has top quality but such teeny tiny pots. They are a last resort source for me.

Gina, did you allspice have scented leaves? I love picking a leaf from the cinnamon tree and chewing at the stem.

It did . It been so long ago. It was a great tree. I had a cinnamon tree for a while too, they sell them occasionally in the box stores here
