Isn;t it great? These guys had the plainest yard...in fact I am not certain the house was not vacant...there was no rental sign in front...it was left totally to the elements and looked untouched. But this was great.

it looks like a big stylized French Horn to me! they are made of brass, so brass /copper ages to a nice brown/green patina...no need to paint it.
it even has 3 buttons too (rotary valves :)..just looked it up ! but fewer loops then an actual instrument.
i immediately started having ideas...construction using copper pipes..
