The website for the Iris Society of Dallas suggests writing Tom Burseen directly and implies he has a catalog: http://www.irises-dallas.org/i... I'm not sure if their website is up-to-date, but I think I remember Leslie stating something similar... I could be wrong.
Cindy, if you continue to have trouble locating 'Cranfil's Gap', I can add it to our "Wanted..." thread:
The thread "Wanted: these hard to find irises" in Irises forum
DaisyDo said:According to the sidebar alongside the database entry for Cranfil's Gap, 11 of our members have it, And if you click on that, you get a list of the members who do, as well as the information that Superstition Gardens was the source for at least some of them.
Unfortunately, Superstition Gardens does not have a web page, but rather only a Facebook page, which is kind of weird, considering how many people have closed their Facebook memberships (myself included) because of Facebook data leaks and gathering and sale of personal data. However, even if you don't have a Facebook membership, You can still find their phone number on their public -facing facebook page. Give them a call and ask whether they still have Cranfil's Gap.
If they don't have it, maybe you can work out a trade with one of our 11 members who has it.

But, I did just rescue what I think is it today from yet another problem going on in that area and hopefully it will make a comeback, demonstrate if it is in fact the iris that I hope it is, and if so, then at some point in the future I can share...
for whatever that's worth
