Hey Everyone-

I wanted to start a new topic on everyone's favorite semp pairings.

For those who plant multiple, different semp varieties together in gardens, raised beds or containers, what pairings having you found that really stand out color, size, texture wise when planted together?

Share your favorite pairings and share pictures and you can!

You all know I'm a big fan of Semp Noids and so sorry that I don't offer cultivar names to these "pairings". The pairings are more based on texture and color of several components.

Given that, how about wood and Sedum and Sempervivum Noids thrown together?

Or just wood and green semps with plum colored centered semps?

This is a mixture of Semp Jovibarbas:

Jesse I love this topic, thank you for starting it.
Hmmm, I'll have to think about pairings. I haven't been very good at it in the past, but thinking more along those lines lately.

Here is 'Abba' and Sedum 'Ruby Mantle'. This combination was a total accident.

D. 'Garnet' and S. 'Vanille'

'Green Caressa', 'Pink Red Tina' and 'Hordubal'. Each is so different that if they grow into each other it is easy to tell them apart.

To be honest, I can give a favorite, because it can change from one day to the next. Depending on the season and lighting. And I also love to grow other types of plants with the semps.

nice photos, Lynn/Bev!

Lets open this to favorite pairings with other plants too. Your examples were great Lynn, and what beautiful compositions Bev! I want to buy some bulk NOIDs this spring for some living frames and other projects..

Bev's wooden frames are beautiful, you should see them in person Jesse. Even more beautiful. She has such a great artistic eye for doing them. Also her tiny containers. Lovey dubby

I look forward to seeing how you pair plants up Jesse. I think this also pertains to using rocks to highlight our semps. Just look at what Tim and Dirt do with those methods.

Bev's frames are the best!

I don't have any specific pairings but I always like a combination of gold against purple, very Mardi Gras!
