I didn't realize how fragrant Supertunia Bordeaux is. I have a big ball near my back door and the fragrance fills the kitchen. It seems much stronger than other petunias
Joanne, that's a beauty! I'll have to watch for that variety next year and see if I can incorporate it near my house for the fragrance! Great info. Thanks!

Petunias don't get enough credit for their fragrance. I only buy ones that smell good. What beautiful plants (not just the Petunias!) you have! What a lovely, lush garden/patio!

The generic deep purple ones have an amazing spicy evening fragrance! I won't go a spring/summer without them.
โLittle girl, why are you doing this? You canโt save all these starfish. I'll second those deep purple petunias for fragrance Chantell. I never think to start them from seed but will buy a pot when I smell them in bloom.
There is an old time petunia here with tiny blooms that smells good also. Years ago they had pots of them around the town square. They were pretty and fragrant and came up in the sidewalk cracks for a few years after. Now I don't see those petunias any longer. Guess everyone got burned out on the volunteers. Kristi

Sad...very sad! Mine have reseeded the last 2 years...least on the one side. Funny how it's luck if what you WANT reseeds v. something randomly showing up some place that well you weren't over thrilled with...LOL! I ended up with teeny hot peppers on the left side of my stairs IN one of my planters. HUH? They WERE growing (read: last year) in a topsy turvey (will NOT do THAT again) on the right side of the stairs. Weird...eh?
