Barbara, another member has suggested that your two photos in the 'Ruby Star' entry are actually photos of 'Opal Star.'

That does look more like the coloration of 'Opal Star'. Hippeastrum 'Ruby Star' has a really deep, wine red color. Perhaps you meant to upload the bloom photos to the entry with your entire plant photo of Opal Star?

In the absence of a response from the photo owner, I have moved the images to the 'Opal Star' entry.

Hi, just saw this message. Opal star and Ruby star are different strains by same breeder. So close that they are sold interchangably.
Another name that both are sold under is cherry crush. Post the photo wherever you feel is appropriate
