The sun will rise today at 7:37 am and set at 7:38 pm. That is 11 hours and 59 minutes of daylight! Almost, almost there! The season is about to start in a big way!

If you are stuck at home because you can't go out due to social distancing, your job said stay home, or your kids are home from school closure...its time to get going in some parts of the country.

Since I have to skip the gym I have been walking 4-6.5 miles a day. and all those garden choose are mine for the doing. get your kids out and start that raised bed garden as a family project. Plant some flowers, start some seeds. I found my first Monarch cats on my milkweed yesterday....science lesson!

Instead of feeling like the rug has been pulled out from under you by this crisis, use the opportunity to teach your kids how to grow a small crop of food, or get those home improvement chores you have been putting off done.

I am very nervous right now, my husband may have to cut back work because he is in the medical profession and the surgeon general is now saying that all elective surgery should be cancelled or postponed. Which means I may have HIM at home for an extended period LOL. And that is like having 10 kids out of school. And he refuses to go yard work (unless it involves the oh so manly chainsaw.)
