I've got a garden cart that I've had for years. Time to get new tires and tubes for it but I'm having a hard time getting the correct tire. The tire itself is 13x5.00-6. I can find a ton of those however the inside width, between where the inner tube goes, is too wide. On my tire the opening is approx 2 1/4". The tires I bought from Amazon the opening is 2 3/4". I tried smashing them down as far as I can to get the two plates on and can't do it. Here's what my tire looks like. Anyone know where I can get a tire that will work?

Have you thought about buying a whole wheel? That will solve your problem. I looked at your pictures and I think your cart is very old. True? So maybe producers do not produce tire what you need. I think you should buy a new wheel with tire.

Thanks, yes, it is pretty old. I tried several years ago buying the wheel and tire combo however I couldn't get one to fit. I did some more research on Amazon where I got the other ones and found one that may fit. I ordered it and should get it next week. If it doesn't work I'll just get a new cart and retire this one to the trash.
