robertnmeyers said:I am also looking for this seed. I live up here in Michigan. My Oenothera Triloba's made it through every winter for the past 17 years. Then my daughter decided to surprise me by pulling out all the "weeds" :(

I had one survive, but it didn't re-seed. Lost them all. I always enjoyed coming past them walking up to the front door where I was welcomed by the evening flowers.

I will be happy to pay or send a SASE if anyone has some.
Thanks so much!
Bob.

I have about eight or more large plants but don't know how to get seeds or when? I live in southern Ontario. If I could get seeds from them I would send you some. Still trying to figure that out. Lost a few larger ones last year from the cold and snow.

Since I have only the Oenothera biennis in my yard, I had no idea what the seed pods of the Oenothera triloba looked like so I went hunting on Google. I found a photo here:

I also am looking for Oenothera Triloba seed and cultural instructions. My family had them for at least 60 years in lower Michigan. They reseeded themselves every year. I brought them North to the Sault Ste Marie area in the 70's, but, believe it or not, lost them in a divorce.
I have heard them called Desert Primrose, and believe they are a native of the high desert in the western U. S. We called them "desert Flowers". I don't have much to trade, just starting a new yard, but would be glad to pay for them. Many Thanks.

I have been looking for these plants for years! I grew up in buffalo, ny and had watched them bloom every summer at my grandmothers house. Please if anyone has seeds I will gladly pay for them. They mean so much to me!

I have been looking for these for a long time. I grew up watching them bloom all summer long, but lost them when we moved. I am willing to purchase seeds or plants if anyone has them.

I too would love some of these seeds. I've been searching for them for years, and can't find them for sale anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!
