Thank you @KFredenburg! for the generous compliment and for the "thumbs up" on my bee picture of the Tree Marigold (Tithonia diversifolia)!
Thanks, also, for the information on the Common Fiddlenecks (Amsinckia intermedia).
Very unusual and delicate bloom. I am not familiar with this plant. As far as I can tell we must not have this one in south Georgia. At least I have never seen it! . I can just imagine all of the bees playing among those yellow blossoms! What a sight!

Yes, as you already may have seen in the pictures I posted of Fiddlenecks, there are a LOT of them at my place in Morgan Hill this year. This is also the first year we've had them in replacement of the usual Mouse Barley (Hordeum murinum) (foxtails) which I also posted pictures of.

When I took these photos:

There were at least 3 carpenter bees flying around on the flowers, so tomorrow I hope to take some pictures of the bees on the flowers.

Kim,

Spectacular vista of delicate yellow blooms! The pollinators must LOVE that meadow! A photographer's dream.

So, this year you planted the Common Fiddlenecks instead of the foxtails?

No, both the foxtails and the common Fiddleneck are wild, they just grow around my property so I call them mine Hilarious! but this year is the first that we've had common Fiddleneck
