The tulips look comfortable amongst the rocks. A new view for location planting. A terrific job overall making it a classic banner for Spring.

As I look at this scene I see little colored gems nestled among naturally occurring boulders. I am partial to "Rock" gardens; and this one makes a lovely "frosting on my cake"! I call it nature's art work!

Me too!.It sent me immediately to my imaginary rock garden that is in its makings.( That is: solely in my spirit) I also wonder what's there this spring. Perhaps some T.kaufmanianas or some of the other wild tulips of central Asia. Those incredible boulders ask ( imho) for less horticulturally developed forms than those that are given by standard tulips in your picture, but that again this is me =inside me, which means my dream rock garden. Will it ever surface reality? Who knows!
