PBF. Beard is lavender (yellow at the throat) but looks like it could be described as "white "

Posting new images. This was SUPPOSED to be Stellar Lights but no reblooms and seller is UNRELIABLE. If ever I get a consensus on any of my unknowns I then purchase a rhizome to confirm. Or Trade!?

Well, there are so many purple irises that finding an ID for yours might be quite a challenge, but I did a search in the iris database for purple self TBs with blue beards, so maybe you can find a match:

Yes. It is supposed to be stellar lights reblooms. It has not reblooms and the beard is not a bright white. But looks that way from a distance. I may have to live with a garden full of NOID. I do wish that what I order is what I get Sighing! Sighing!

Where did you order your irises? Most vendors will guarantee accuracy as to variety.

It seems to look like Stellar Lights to me, if you bought it from a reputable dealer and it looks like it, it probably is accurate. The first picture in the data base for Stellar Lights doesn't look like it belongs there.

The reason I question it is the white "spot" at the beard throat area is not very prominent. Ordered from Spring Hill on more than one occasion. I received the same on each time.
I remember Rosalie Figg being in the same catalog. Is Rosalie :sigh an option?

there' a great resource for purchasing irises on the top of the forum list. page one, is a good list to start with( for reputable iris vendors). you might look at the list, and start there for replacements or comparisons to purchase? just a thought?

sometimes, at the end of the growing season members offer their extras for postage or trades.

I spent a lot of money trying to find matches for some of my NO ID's. So far I've only identified one. If you love them and don't care about names then I would just love them. If you want more I'd buy from reputable iris vendors. Just my opinion.
