Does anyone know how to get in touch with the hybridizer Ridder? I don't know this person's first name. I am interested in acquiring PINK TARANTULA as well as a few others after looking at all their intros on the AHS website.

Thanks,

David

I recently searched but found nothing. I came across one called Blue Star Sapphire (Ridder 2012) but searches only found AHS and database but no seller or other source.

The hybridizer code lists Ridder as Stonewind Gardens Angela and Robert M. Ridder Moneta VA 24121

Blue Ridge Area Daylily Society looks like the nearest club to them in Roanoke maybe contacting an officer of the region or club, maybe a hybridizer in the area could give you info on how to contact them. Worth a try.

Angie Ridder now lives in Roanoke, VA. She has lived around this area for the 20 or so years I've known her. She used to belong to our local club years ago, but hasn't attended for a while. She did give a program for us last year. I will not put any contact information here but PM me if you want to contact her.

Last year I bought a number of daylilies from them and was told they were planning to move, but I do not know if they actually have moved. Blue Star Sapphire is one of the plants that I bought and it has been blooming this week. I really like her plants and I feel very fortunate to have acquired so many.of them.

They have moved locally not too long ago, ( the Moneta address was 3 homes ago) and as far as I know, they've established their garden in SW Roanoke and have no plans to move again. I got Richard J. Howard from Angie about a year ago, but haven't heard from her much since then.
