I have two arctic fire dogwoods planted in a wet area of my yard. We just put them in over the winter and they are about a foot and a half tall. They grew well over the winter and developed bright green, gorgeous leaves in early spring. However, over the last month or so their leaves have started to bleach white, crisp, get dark red spots on them, and crumble. The little clusters of what would eventually be berries dried out and crumble between my fingers.
One of the dogwoods is worse--the one that gets more sunlight per day. At first I thought it was getting too much sun but then found out that they can be in full sun as long as their soil remains moist (which it has). It seems this is either chlorosis or some sort of fungal disease, but I can't quite find something that fits all the descriptors.
