I have a matured longan tree and it starts to flower already. At the same time, I see ants crawling onto its branches the other day. How do I get rid of ants from my longan tree please?

I assume ants are not good for longan tree.

I have no knowledge of Longan trees but ants are often looking for the sugary substance secfeted by aphids. Perhaps a good spray from the hose will discourage the aphids (if that is the issue.)

Mix garlic powder and cayenne powder to a gallon of water and spray it on plant. Ants hate garlic and red chilies.
