The zinnias are so beautiful Casey!

Love those Zinnia's!

Soon as I saw those pretty Queenies, I thought, "Casey!"

Believe it or not, I was thinking about them earlier today, too, and realized
I need to start them now!
Maybe should have even a few weeks ago.

Last year after seeing yours, I bought some seed, and
even though got a late start (August) still had some nice blooms.

Tomorrow is Zinnia planting day!

BTW, also have lots of marigolds coming up thanks to Leon.

Zinnias and marigolds are the backbone of summer gardens here. Their blooms are magnets for attracting butterflies, bees and other pollinating insects. Cal, you won't be disappointed planting them. A banner of beautiful blooms Casey!

Ah, I do love these zinnias. I believe these are Lime Orange and Lime.

I planted another 36 Queenie seeds this year, 6 each of: Lime, Lime with Blotch, Lime with Blush, Lime Orange, Red Lime, and Raspberry Limeade. The seedlings went into the ground two weeks ago. They're planted with a variety of dahlias and China Aster 'Valkyrie Chamois' and 'Tower Chamois Apricot'. Hopefully our cold snap this weekend won't take them down.

It was darn cold this morning, and supposed to be colder tomorrow. Hopefully not below freezing for long enough to hurt your seedlings!

Thank you Leslie! Going to try and water all the tender stuff today. That should help.

I almost forgot the most important thing! Happy (early) Mother's Day to all the moms!
