Hey everyone! I just wanted to share with you guys a wonderful magazine I got.
Even just the first few pages were terribly informative.

Here are two pictures:

I thought the frog idea was pretty ingenious!

What gardening magazines/books do you guys recommend?

So I tried the toad/frog idea in the picture above, but instead attracted these guys: (Sorry the pics are so blurry, but they're magnified. Also, you can't really see in the picture, but it looks like one of them is pregnant.)

Kim, these are good guys, too. I just love fence swifts, and they live up to their name. I spent hours of my childhood trying to catch these little fast boogers. I've watched them catching insects, particularly
grasshoppers. If you want toads in the garden, you have to have a damp, cool place for them. Their skins dry out in the heat and dry conditions. My back yard is shady, and stays cool. Most of my toads are back there.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

I've been enjoying English Garden from the library during the quarantine. I also like Country Gardens and Garden Gate. They all have something a bit different.

Thanks for the info! Also, I agree! I like most reptiles (yes, even though snakes are scary they are still quite fascinating).

I find the English Garden one really nice too. In fact I just bought a helenium because of all the ones featured in the magazines I have home right now. And the English greenhouses - a girl can dream! I like Country Gardens because they usually are all different types of gardens featured/different zones which is a help where I am. It's just nice especially in the winter to feel like you can plan and grow your ideas that you've seen or anticipate the greenhouse opening for business w/your list of new must haves.

I definitely agree! There's just such a wide variety of gardening in Country Gardens. They have info about container gardening, succulent gardening, I think they may even have had articles on vegetable/fruit gardens as well, and much more!
