Thread OP

Hi, bought an adenium at my local nursery, didn't even know what it was, but it's doing well and have fallen in love with them! Have even ordered some seeds from online :)
My question is this: if I grow 2 seedlings close together what will happen to their caudex? Will they merge? Or will one starve out the other?
Thanks :D

Welcome!

So I have actually had 2 seedlings grow into to each other ..... but when I transplanted them, the two separated, just through the handling process...and after that, they grew as individual plants in separate pots

have also had more than one per pot ...2, 3 & 4 plants per pot ....but eventually one plant "dominates" and the
rest suffer .... once separated they will thrive

once given individual pots, adenium will take off

give it a shot ...you might have better luck with keeping 2 plants together
