I grew some rosemary cuttings a few months ago and it seems to be growing quite happily until I noticed the ends of the leaves are turning black. There have been some small flies around it but the roots look healthy and plentiful which have grown around the inside of the transparent pot, I have had problems in the past with root maggot when attempting to grow herbs and vegetables.

The plant sits in a south facing window and gets some good hours of sun and I always make sure that the soil never dries up, it has drainage holes at the bottom.

I was thinking that it could be getting root maggot or its getting to much sun.

Any ideas?

My guess is too much water. Try letting it get JUST dry before re-watering. You might repot some into fresh soil so you can control the water from the start.
