I've noticed that my Navy Jag daylily has deep grooves all along the length of the leaves. Usually, you just see a mid vein. Also, some of the tips of the leaves are turning brown and yellow. It's planted near a large shrub. Another daylily planted 5' away looks normal. I've never seen this before. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Some of mine also do that, but I can't tell you why, sorry.

I have a few like that as well. Like Larry, I am clueless as to the cause. I worry more about the effects of leaf streak and rust on my foliage.
