I have read that the seed need to be sprouted in the dark. How dark?
At what point should the new sprouts be moved to light.
At what point should the new sprouts be planted in soil?
Maybe it takes a long time to grow, but remember that if nobody plants it, nobody has it.

dark is not needed, I do it on my window indoors
plant it when root is about inch-inch and half long, be careful not to break it.
