Thread OP

Hi
I'm a keen walker and a few weeks ago I discovered a field full of lilac flowers which I hadn't seen before and didn't recognise. I posted the pictures on my walking group FB page hoping someone would be able to identify them but to no avail and they are now known as the 'mystery flower'.

I did this walk again with a friend today and there they were again looking amazing and covered in bees 🐝.

I'd really like to know the real name of the 'mystery flower' can anyone help?

Many thanks
Martha

I think your flowers might be Blue curls, Phacelia congesta
