This Iris looks a lot like 'Grand Canyon Sunset', but, the beard color is different. The beard in your pic is yellow and 'Grand Canyon Sunset's beard is orange. But, it's the best that I can come up with.

Nancy ~ Do you have any more pictures of it? Is it early, mid or late? How tall is it?

Evelyn, this was the picture that was sent to me along with the rhizome so I have no clue.

Nancy ~ I guess you will have to wait until it blooms to see if the name is right. Why do you nor think it is right?

I noticed that "Colette Thurillete" has a tangerine beard too like "Grand Canyon Sunset" in all the plant database pictures.
From Nancy's picture ,the beards don't look tangerine.

Evelyn, because of the beard like Derylin mentioned and the standards are a strong yellow, not a light tan.
