So,
I was responding to Gina's post about new leaves the other day, and I felt embarrassed but also incredibly proud of my Clarinervium because it was my first new leaf on that plant but it started out tiny! I was thinking... oh my gosh I'm a terrible plant mom! I have deprived my baby of nutrition or humidity or something!
To make it grow so tiny, but it's still oh so perfect! I was nearly too embarrassed to even post my photo... but,
as fate would have it, by a trick of perspective, the leaf appeared much larger than it was since the older leaf was in the background and looked about the same size as the tiny leaf. My shame was hidden and I posted it inconspicuously among some other leaves.
However, to my surprise and - amazement, pride and - glee... it seems like it just keeps getting bigger!
And phenomenally; the same thing is happening to my rehabbed Dark Queen!
So I would love to talk about and learn about how anthurium leaves make their debut. I was expecting an unfurling like a philo or a monster, but then this! They start Teeny and grow big? Is that how it goes? Please tell me more??
Here's my trick photography, aforementioned
