SDBs:

SDB Forever Royal ---One of Chuck Chapman's. He describes it as "probably best of the 'Whenever' reblooming types...near continuous rebloom in my zone 4 garden." And I love the rich purple color!


SDB Bennett's Legacy ---Looks like a sweet little iris with bright color combination. If I understand correctly, this is a selection made by the late Bennett Jones many years ago and only recently introduced by Terry Aitken.

Magic Ring was one which I ordered for the club auction if we can hold it. otherwise it will be planted in a bed (not in our garden) for another year.

Derylin, two pictures look good when expanded, but two did not. I wonder why? I did find Shockaholic and Space Signal in the Iris Encyclopedia:

I'm sorry about the pictures.It was a spur of the moment decision to post ,and am not the most adapt at figuring out how to post pictures other than my own.I think I was tired from mowing and digging and was impatient to be done ,and didn't want to attempt to figure something out about the pictures.Brain overload for the day !:confused:

That's OK Derylin! Glad you shared some pictures. A screen shot was a good idea---just not sure why some were fuzzy!

Every once in a while I take a screen shot and it's fuzzy for a few seconds. Then it clears up. I have no idea why.

I didn't order anything this year but I won four door prizes that I can't wait to get hold of:

Epic Romance (Blyth 2019) (sorry, no picture in database; it's in Mid-America's catalog)
I chose it because it is a very early bloomer.

I have Dark Universe on order, too.

It's disappointing when an anticipated iris doesn't bloom - I had a newbie too that didn't bloom but instead put its energy into making increases. Next year should be good!

Glad you ordered Dark Universe - I noticed that Mid-America is sold out of it.
