I recently received the citrus mitis below and have no experience in caring for citrus plants. The tree has a lot of fruit but some is going mouldy and some have dark red/brown juice dripping from them which attracts fruit flies. Also some of the fruit is dropping off.

Here is a picture of it, overall it looks fairly healthy but I'm a bit concerned.

The plant looks healthy, maybe you should harvest some fruit. They look ripe.

Do you keep it where it shows it is in the picture? It needs to be in the sun. I would pick all of the fruit that is ripe or overripe right away.
