Thread OP

I am wondering how often it is recommended to add lime to a potted, immature dwarf lilac? I am container growing a bloomerang dwarf lilac and had read adding lime to the soil is beneficial. I have added 2-3 Tablespoons around the plant out to the drip line. I would have mixed it in the soil had I read that suggestion prior, but I didn't.

Normally I'm pretty good with my plants, but I have an emotional attachment to this one as Lilacs are my, my father, and my grandmother's favorite flower, so I have a bit of motherly anxiety. I'm nervous to do anything that may jeopardize it. Hilarious!
