Welcome to the forum, sajaniclerk! If you put your location in your profile folks can give you some more specific, climate-aware advice.

I'm curious, did you purchase these as plants or grow from seed? If they're purchased plants are they Bonnie Plants seedlings?

I just shared this link with another new user with problems with Bonnie Plants cucumber plants. I wonder if Bonnie has an issue with a grower. The other user didn't have his location info available, either, but it would be interesting to know if ya'll are in the same general region/area.

I'm not saying yours is caused by this, I guess your's could be from some kind of bug damage or handling damage or it could be an earlier stage of this. Here's the link: Fusarium root and stem rot. .

Best wishes,
Ed

Could be the result of damping off when the seedling was smaller. It doesnt always kill the seedling but the seedling will never thrive after it.

Could also be some nasty slugs and other slimy bugs that like to hide under your weed barrier and come out and night. Ive seen them eat right through stems.

I'm the other poster that intheswamp mentioned. Having very similar issues. Unfortunately it's hard to identify.

I updated my profile to show I'm in zone 6b. Kansas. Are your plants Bonnie transplants or did you start from seed?

It seems like it could be fusarium rot, damping off showing up late or possibly bacterial wilt spread by cucumber beetles. I have seen a couple spotted cucumber beetles on a more healthy Armenian cucumber plant. These beetles can feed on stems and roots below the soil and they can spread bacterial wilt.

Here's 2 more plants that died off and wilted completely yesterday. You can see the shriveled and wood like stem damage that is occurring in this bed below the soil.

Sigh. Angry

Thankfully a few of my cucumber plants in other beds are getting bigger and look like they might make it Crossing Fingers!
