I've been getting more interested in plumeria plants, and seeing more trees as I drive around. I've now seen about 5 trees in different places where the leaves are very dark green, almost a dark velvety color, maybe sort of red. It's very distinct from the usual bright green leaf plumerias around. I've seen them with dark red flowers and some white flowers. Does anyone know what varieties these might be? Thank you!

Could be named varieties, or NOID's. Hard to say. I think a lot of Thai varieties have darker leaves.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

Yeah, I have some that are very light green and some that are very dark with red veins. Even one that's variegated. It's all personal preference in what you like, or what you think is pretty.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
