Thread OP

My back yard has this waterfall down the hillside that a previous owner built many years ago. It's been a bit neglected by us but I've recently cleaned it up and got it back functioning and now I'd really like to plant some color along the sides but I'm not sure what to put there. There's currently a lot of ivy and some other succulents, what looks like ice plant, but I'm not sure. Not too crazy about the ivy but it is a good ground cover.

The location is San Bruno, CA., approximately 30 miles south of San Francisco. We are in the fog zone and get a lot of fog during the summer, but we do have some good days of sunshine. Facing the hillside is West, so it gets a fair amount of sun when it's out.

Any ideas??

Thanks...Randy
