Hi Everyone,
I just joined, so thought I'd say hello! I've been gardening for 30+ years, perennials but mostly vegies. I figure if I'm going to do this much work, I may as well supplement my groceries. It's like printing money! I recently retired and now have more time to devote to gardening, so my big Corona project is expanding the vegie garden, fencing it in, and surrounding it with a pollinator garden. The picture shows my progress so far. Tarps are killing off the sod pretty well. Next is building the soil, and well you all know - a lot of work. But I can't tell you how much enjoyment I get from being in my garden.
I got my URI Master Gardener Certificate last year. Great curriculum with a lot of information I didn't know, even after 30 yrs. There's always something to learn and keep one humble. I look forward to learning more here on the forums and sharing what I know when I can.
Happy Gardening!
