...a tool junkie that is! Once I decided to get back into gardening after many, many years, I realised I needed tools. I had nothing on hand, no pun intended. Rolling my eyes.

Firstly, I knew that before anything else I had to have a well made trowel and a well made claw for working the beds. I went with DeWit {pats self on back}. They make fabulous tools for the garden, and although they are not cheap, the quality you get for the price point is well worth it in my opinion. One of my favourites is their 5 tine claw. What a fabulous tool it has been for me! It has gotten A LOT of use in my garden I can tell you, and I LOVE it!

Last night I was looking at their rock and root trowel. It is pretty certain that I will order it very soon. I think it will be the perfect tool to work in tight corners and in between plants. I am also thinking about ordering the potting trowel with the beautifully curved back that will make working with containers so much easier.

So far, I have the DeWit transplant trowel, the regular trowel, the Victorian trowel, and of course the 5 tine claw which I cannot praise enough. Then, it occurred to me last night that I am becoming a DeWit garden tool junkie! Hilarious!

Are you a tool junkie, too? Which ones are your favourites? How do you clean them? How do you store them? I have a garden "bag," but I am beginning to think I need a rack on the wall in the garage or something. I have been eyeing those Command products for hanging such things, but I will eventually probably just opt for plain old nails in the wall unless I can find something more perfect, perhaps more aesthetically pleasing. In any case, I think I enjoy my tools and using them almost as much as I do the end work product.
Fate gives all of us three teachers, three friends, three enemies, and three great loves in our lives. But these twelve are always disguised, and we never know which one is which until we've loved them, left them, or fought them.
