Hello My Friends
Its been a busy summer and I'm afraid I haven't posted anything for a while. The garden proper is really cooking along now that it's in it's third year. It's taken that long to get the soil in some of the raised beds dialed in. Tomatoes, peppers, corn, beets carrots, a gaggle of herbs and some flowers. The sunflowers are seven or eight feet tall, but no blossoms yet. The rest of the property is doing well also. The fruit trees are thriving and there is even some fruit Hurray! With the electric deer fence now in place hopefully the deer will leave the trees alone. I really hate fences... but we must do as we must. So here is one little snappy taken in June. Poppies adorning one of the retaining walls. Poppies are one of natures wonders with their lovely greenery and vibrant orange. And the critters won't eat them! Two great attributes that I really like.
Happy Gardening
Jack
