This is the first bloom of a cross that I made. I don't have totally comprehensive knowledge of amaryllis, but I've seen more than a few. I have never seen any with spots like this on the petals. Is that unusual?

This is the second flower. It is not as consistent as the first. If I figured out how to market this, I would wait a few bloom seasons first to make sure the flowers and offsets are reasonably consistent.

You can cross it to itself for seeds. Or, cut the bulb up, keeping a part of the basal plate on each cut part, let the cut wounds dry for while, then plant them to form new bulbs. With only one bulb, I would be hesitant to do that though - if you do it wrong, your only bulb is gone. Unless you can get an expert to it for you. I would go with self pollinating it to get the seeds.
