So I have a lovely little cucumber growing and suddenly it developed this yellow-white wrinkled patch. What's going on? I've got a few others starting on this plant and don't want the same thing to happen to them.

That is sunscald. Generally speaking on cucumbers it's only a cosmetic damage but if the cucumber starts rotting, remove it from the plant.

Cucumbers are not generally prone to it but I see you are in Colorado and that means you are pretty high in the air, meaning Sun radiations are pretty strong regardless of air temperature.

I wondered if that was it. It also got really hot this week. A bunch of buds on my Adenium also got fried. Sad
