Interesting plant, and pretty banner, Casey!

My first impression was one of Baja's cacti. Whistling

Is it Love in a Mist, Black Cumin or another specie?
May have to add it to our 2021 garden.

Besides being a pretty plant for the garden, it evidently has health benefits,
as well as being a spice.

This is a fascinating genus of more than a dozen species. As I have said previously the banner forum is an "eye-opener" full of useful information. This plant adds to our continuing knowledge. Thanks Casey for sharing and Cal for the links! Smiling

Cal, I'm not 100% sure but this one may be Cramer's Plum (n. damascena). I grew a couple of varieties and the pods in the photo are from the one that bloomed the most, you can see them in the background of the photo. I also grew Midnight (n. papillosa), Miss Jekyll Alba (n. damascea), Miss Jekyll Blend (n. damascea), and African Bride (n. papillosa). It's definitely a great flower to add to the garden. Thumbs up
