Bought a plumeria at Lowe's, and while repotting, discovered it was not rooted and was essentially a cutting. Returning it tomorrow, but a good way to test is to try to spin it with minimal force.

It's not Lowe's fault, but kind of a hassle.

It had leaves and an inflo, which was awesome, but since it had no roots, I'd have to cut off the leaves and inflo to get roots going. Didn't want to deal with the hassle.

I agree. What a hassle though having to return it. Will keep this problem in mind next time I go shopping. Lowes does not sell them over here. Only small retailers do. I went to buy some when I got an email from this local nursery but they were out by the time I got there. Ha! Where are you?

Our Home Depot gets varieties from Jungle Jacks from time to time. Did they have a label from a big plumeria grower? Just curious, or did they just have Lowe's tags?

I have bought some from Lowes and found it's best if you can get them as soon as they arrive, our store here they water them until they rot.
