I have just received my Adenium swazicum and I am wondering about whether I should just keep it in the little pot it came in or should
I repot it into a terra cotta pot with a 6 or 7 inch diameter.

What does everyone think?? So Far I have done pretty well with my various Adenium and Adenia which I have gotten this year as well as with
my Pachypodiums

Here are a couple of pictures as it acclimates

Nice looking plant ....

If it were my plant ...and considering this is mid July (or, more than half way through the growing season) ...I would leave the plant in its current pot ...

I would leave it in that container for now, maybe till next season, so it can further acclimate/adjust to the growing area. You can check again next Spring, before it wakes up to see the condition of the root zone. I make changes before the growing ensues, not when summer is already in full swing.

Thank you @tarev because it is going to be hot and humid here for a pretty long while.
We usually find the heat of summer goes right on into October here.
And I finally do have a picture of my Adenia volkensii

Same here, but on my side it is hot and very dry. I just start to hide them indoors once temps starts going below 50F. Till then, the Adeniums stays outdoors to get all the sun it can enjoy.

I have not tried growing Adenia...so I will enjoy watching how your plant grows. Smiling
